Buckle Bangle With Roses
This buckle bangle is almost identical to the bangle that kickstarted my fascination with victorian jewelry. The form is incredibly classic and features a round belt buckle with a hand engraved silver “strap”. The sides are embellished with a layered chevron border and the rest is engraved with roses. According to Victorian Floriography, roses are a symbol of love, which reinforces the buckles symbol of everlasting love and friendship.
Hallmarks: k (1884), Anchor (Birmingham), Lion (sterling silver)
inner diameters: 2 1/8” x 2”
