This Lockbox is inspired by a Du Paquier tobacco box. The scene is framed by a lavender ground, which is a brand new color to the palette. One side is painted with a scene of a man serving a large butterfly tea. The landscape wraps around the whole box, and onto a temple with flowers rising from the ground. The next side features a butterfly playing a harp beneath a tree. The last side has a landscape with distant mountains and a butterfly flying in mid air. The bolt has a lavender coloreds flower and delicate golden arabesques.
